3. Jul 17,  · This album showcases Michael Been's passion and vocal quality. The songs all can definately be interpreted as Christian based without being in your face. If you have never listened to the call before, I'm not sure I would recommend this to be the first album you listen to. Personally I would say to start with Into the Woods, then this album.4/5().

5. The first lp is orange and the second is violet. The second lp is not quite violet, more of a pinky purple color. I took a picture of the colors for reference. The quality of vinyl seems rather good, no complaints. It was also packaged very well, which was one of my main concerns about ordering a vinyl from amazon/5().

6. The Call formed in Santa Cruz in by vocalist/guitarist Michael Been, drummer/percussionist Scott Musick, bassist Greg Freeman, and guitarist Tom Ferrier. Michael Been died on August 19, after suffering a heart attack backstage at the Pukkelpop music festival in Hasselt, Belgium, where he was working as sound engineer for his son's band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

Mint condition copies of that last Now vinyl release – almost certainly the only record in the world to feature both Björk and Boyzone – have been sold for upwards of £ alone.
